Timothy W. Kim

Timothy W. Kim has more than 20 years of experience in valuation, transaction advisory services and consulting services. He brings domestic and international understanding to estate and gift tax, corporate mergers, equity and debt acquisitions, underwriting, dispositions, financing, portfolio management and financial reporting, including purchase price allocation (ASC 805), fair value measurement (ASC 820) and impairment testing (ASC 350, 360).

Timothy works with, international corporations, financial institutions, family offices, pension funds, investment advisors, REITs and private equity funds, utilizing his deep understanding of complex real estate projects to provide industry insight. He has experience on a vast array of properties, including hotels, resorts, land for development, multi-family, health care facilities, offices, self-storage, industrial and shopping centers.

Timothy holds the MAI membership designation with the Appraisal Institute and is a Certified General Appraiser in 11 states. Timothy earned a Master of Science in real estate from New York University and a Bachelor of Business Administration in computer information systems from Baruch College.
